Kloster Sießen
Sießen Monastery is a popular destination for excursion. In addition to the architecture worth seeing, the Franciscan Garden is a special visitor magnet. In the course of time the Franciscan nuns of Sießen laid out an orchard, a labyrinth, herb gardens and a human sundial. The convent is still inhabited by nuns of the Franciscan order today. They run a monastery café serving home-baked cakes and tarts made from organic ingredients.
